We begin with a relaxed 15-minute phone call to see if we’re a good fit. We’ll talk through your goals, review my process, and compare schedules to decide how to move forward.
If you’re on O‘ahu, I’m also happy to meet for coffee at a location convenient for you. No traffic stress, no pressure.
Generations and family portrait sessions are typically booked about two weeks in advance. Headshot sessions are often more flexible, depending on availability.
If you’re planning portraits for holiday cards or gifts, I recommend booking your family session in late summer or early fall to allow time for design, production, and shipping.

I offer “Around the Island” sessions for visiting families and professionals.
Because of Hawai‘i’s tropical weather, I recommend scheduling your session early in your stay. That gives us flexibility to adjust if needed and ensures you leave with your portraits completed stress-free.
Weekday sessions are ideal as availability is greater and many popular locations are quieter.
Sessions are photographed on location — in your home, your workplace, or at a setting on O‘ahu that best supports your story.
We choose locations together, always with comfort, accessibility, and the final artwork in mind.
Even during the rainy season, rescheduling is rarely necessary. If weather becomes an issue, we adjust at no charge.
For weekend sessions, we often keep adjacent days as backup options so we can make the best call using the most accurate forecast. Indoor sessions at your home are also always an option.
Session fees begin at a set starting point and cover the guided experience itself — including consultation, preparation, the session, and professional editing.
Finished images and artwork are selected after you’ve seen your portraits. You choose only what you love, either à la carte or as part of a custom-curated collection.
Most clients invest at a level that reflects the scope of their session and the artwork they want to live with long-term. Full details are discussed during your consultation so expectations are clear before moving forward.
